In the third grade, the students work for a reward of extra recess at the end of the week.  I use a 3 strike policy for the week.  Strike# 1 is a warning.  Strike #2 loss of half of extra recess.  Strike #3 loss of all of extra recess.  

Reasons to earn a strike

~No Homework

~Talking/Passing Notes 

~Bad Report from another teacher

~Stealing

~Cheating

~Inappropriate behavior in the restroom

~ Not working to ability
