LIBRARY GOALS
During library class students will build information literacy skills, develop an appreciation for literature, pursue independent learning, and become socially responsible users of information. The goal of the library curriculum is for students to become lifelong readers and learners.
CIRCULATION INFORMATION
BOOK CHECK OUT
Kindergarten 1 book
1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade 2 books
Additional books may be checked out for classroom projects
Parent and guardians are especially encouraged to read with their children.
RETURNING BOOKS
Your child will not able to select any new books with an overdue book. When the overdue book is returned or replaced your child may select another book.
BOOK CARE
Please help us keep our library books in good condition by using the following guidelines with your child:
-The best place for your book when it is not being read is in his or her backpack.
-Bookmarks should be used.
-Keep library books away from food, drink, pets, and siblings.
