Career Awareness Initiative

The Yough School District is kicking off the 2016-17 school year with it's Career Awareness Initiative.  Part of the initiative is to bring awareness to the top Soft Skills employers look for in their employees.  What better way to prepare the future work force by introducing & reinforcing Soft Skills while they're in school?

The Soft Skill for the Month of April is: Writing Skills

Writing is the primary basis upon which your work, your learning, and your intellect will be judged—in college, in the workplace, and in the community. Communication skills, including writing, are one of the most important transferable skills that workers possess.

Having a solid command of the written word can help set you apart from ‘the competition!’
